While visiting family in Portland, a hike was in order to see some of the lush landscape and beautiful waterfalls there. The route we took at Eagle Creek, about 45 minutes outside of Portland, ended up providing just that. The well-maintained trail was an easy 6 miles with only 300ft of elevation.
Although the sun didn’t join us for the majority of the hike, the many waterfalls and several bridge crossings provided ample photo opportunities. There was one stream crossing that required maneuvering on some rocks (or stepping into toe-deep water), but it was not an issue with Gor-Tex boots on board :).
